Barry Levinson, born April 6, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, is a motion picture writer, producer and director. He is an Executive Producer for Copper. He has worked on the first season. He has been active since 1970 and directed the films Rain Man (1988), Toys (1992), Sleepers (1996), and Wag the Dog (1997). He has also worked extensively in television, often with Copper co-creator Tom Fontana. They collaborated on the series Homicide: Life on the Street, Oz, The Jury, The Beat, and Bedford Diaries.
